On the Road again ...
I mean, ok, I haven't had much opportunity for content in a few years now. Frankly, there were times when COVID had me thinking "maybe it's time to step back from the hustle, enjoy the quiet life." Buuuut then the hustle comes to you and says to get back up and get movin' again!
England - 2022
Now, way back in 2007 (I think it was 2007), I'd landed on this planet in England. Kinda how I ended up getting my start on a certain iconic British Sci-Fi show. Made my way over to Canada, and y'all know how the rest of that played out. I always meant to go back to England at some point, but never had the chance. Then comes 2022 and my friend Kim is like "Hey, I'm taking a trip to England, love to bring you along!" PROBLEMO SOLVED!
Toronto trip - June 14-17 2019
I usually make a trip to Toronto every year for Fan Expo, but this year, there was two trips. This one I finally got to do something I'd always wanted to do. I brought the human. So these are the sights from each day of the four day trip we took with the human's family. I posted these to my social media, so if you missed that and want to see the captions and accompanying videos, type "@aditheadipose #ToTrip" into twitter and you'll get everything. #ToTrip might work on instagram as well, but they don't like letting you use multiple search terms, so you might have to do some combing through...
Day One
This day predominantly consisted of three things. The flight there, the Ontario Science Centre, and my human and one of my #TwitterSisters *finally* met!
Day Two
First full day in the T-Dot we did one of those "Hop On - Hop Off" bus tours ... and frankly since our tickets lasted the entire trip, those buses are actually not a half bad way to get around downtown TO! We saw some landmarks (Scotiabank Centre, 299 Queen street, the CBC Building, etc ...) and then my human contained his vertigo long enough for us to do a photoshoot up in CN Tower ... I got to live my dream of seeing sharks when we went to Ripley's Aquarium, and over the course of wandering around in the evening, we came a cross the Mecca that is Silversnail Comics.
Day Three
We were back on the tour bus for Day 3, this time around we checked out Hollywood's favorite mansion, Casa Loma. We also met up with my human's cousin at the Royal Ontario Museum, and even discovered we were staying within walking distance of Maple Leaf Gardens, so we swung by there to get snacks. And I rode the cart escalators.
We ended the day discovering the North by NorthEast music festival which, seriously, if you have the opportunity, you so need to check it out!

Day Four
Day Four was pretty much entirely about heading back to Halifax. We had to hightail it outta Toronto so we wouldn't get stuck in the Toronto Raptors parade and miss our flight. It was literally everyone coming into TO as we was gettin' out!
