The speed builds, the dares, and the just because i could's!
Everybody's got that cosplay that they did just to see if they could do it. Or somebody said something that gave 'em an idea and they just HAD to try and do it. Or you see something, and you're like, "I got the stuff to do that!" These are the cosplays that haven't gotten a full shoot *yet* but the idea came into my head and I was like "I gotta do it."
Abandon all hope
My #TwitterSister Elysia White did a short called "Abandon All Hope." Here's the trailer, and it does in 45 seconds what Hollywood trailer people can't do in three minutes. It interests me.
I'm not sure when this is coming out but, oh God DAMN do I wanna see it! Between this, her upcoming film "Red Spring," and "HapHead," like my other #TwitterSisters, Elysia can basically kick your ass. Repeatedly. Anyway, there was this one really bad ass clip of her in the trailer where I was like "Oh, I have to!"
Buckle up Creampuff
So fall of 2017 I discovered this web series called "Carmilla," based on the lesbian vampire story of the same name (written 20 years before Bram Stoker put pen to paper), and holy shit this was the most glorious Queer entertainment i have ever seen! Perfectly executed comedy, all the representation and a sardonic lead character who is the best vampire I've ever watched! I don't have the wardrobe for a full Carmilla cosplay yet, but I figured I'd do a closet one in the meantime. They also did a feature length movie, and you should go to carmillamovie.com and buy it. Like, right now. No, seriously, why are you still here? GO BUY IT!!
Morgan hoffman
Here's a shot or two of me as my first #TwitterSister, InnerSpace's Morgan Hoffman. I did this for HalCon 2014, initially in the hopes she'd be coming. That didn't happen but I figured "fuck it, I'ma do it anyway!"
Note: I still hate the wig.

The Fairy god #twittersister
This was my first "speed build." Inspired by the time Morgan got made over to look like Cinderella, right before that piece aired I was like "IDEA!" and threw this thing together as fast as I could. Time from idea to final shot: 5 minutes. It's the wand I usually use at Pride, my Darth Adipem cape, the red dress from my Morgan Hoffman cosplay and a crown that I had lying around. Because reasons.
