Haphead
Every human cosplayer has that one special cosplay. The one that most people have probably never heard of, but is extra special to them. Mine is from a little Canadian web series called "HapHead." I literally can't watch this thing enough. The 20th viewing is just as satisfying as the first was. I mean, I love HapHead so much I wrote its entire trivia section on IMDB! This thing has given me so much, my rabbit pendant (and so help me I'm going to figure out where that thing fucking disappeared to!), and most importantly, my #TwitterSister Elysia. That's her down below in the still for the HapHead trailer. You can click here to check out my HapHead review in the Adiposean Archive and, when I fixed up the old section from 2015, there's a link to buy a digital copy. You also *might* be able to email [email protected] about a physical copy if that's your preference. Not a hundred percent sure but it's so worth looking into!
Overgrowth Ninja Rabbit avatar
So, little while back I heard on InnerSpace about this webseries called "HapHead," starring my newest #TwitterSister Elysia White. It centers on this gamer girl named Maxine (that's Elysia) who lives in 2025 Toronto where video games are so advanced that you can literally learn skills playing the game. I mean ... oh hell, here. Click and check out the trailer! I'll wait here until you're done. In fact, like what you see? Click here to purchase the full length "feature edit!"
Like, seriously, how is this not amazing!? Anyway, when it was first released, I was live tweeting the episodes and around episode 3 or 4, I was like "This is glorious, I must cosplay this!" I mean, I wasn't really planning to since I had no idea how I was gonna do it but then the people at HapHead answered and were like "Ok yeah, that needs to happen and we want to see it!" So of course, ya know, challenge accepted and I came up with my own Ninja Rabbit Avatar from Maxine's favorite game "Overgrowth." I'm gonna do a Maxine cosplay at some point, just ain't sure when I'll have time.
Maxine
God this just makes me happy. Like, "cosplay dream come true" happy. Everything on this page before this part was written in 2015. It's now late 2016 and I *finally* get to say this. My cosplay of HapHead's lead character Maxine and star Elysia White (wait, Cronheim now. I think. She got married since this section was under "Miscellaneous Cosplays" and human wedding rules confuse me) is READY!! Y'all have seriously got no idea how in love with this thing I am! I am never taking this hoodie off!! Slight bit of trivia: we usually do cosplay shoots on my human's phone (makes editing really easy) but we went old school for this and shot on his Nikon D3100.
