2019: The winds of change
Well, sadly this was the first year we couldn't meet up with any of the old InnerSpace crew. Sadly we didn't know Morgan was gonna be there until after we'd left, but hey, such is life. There's always next year! BUT, my #TwitterSister Natasha and I finally got to do our first group cosplay! We both went as Handmaids from "The Handmaid's Tale," more specifically in funeral garb. Which kinda works, because frankly this planet is going to hell underneath his eye.
2018: Con Meetup 3 - Through costuming Dangers untold, and shipping hardships unnumbered...
Year three was the year that almost never was. Literally everything that could go wrong pertaining to this year’s trip did. It took a year and a half to get my costume after the human who was first gonna make it completely flaked, and I didn’t even get it this year until the absolute last second (but in my current costumers defense, she had a lot of shit going on, so totally understood), and my Fed-Ex office closed down so I had to travel by ... blech ... Canada Post. That did NOT go well! But I got there and that’s what matters!
...bell media has no power over us!!
But the single worst issue came on May 24. See, Morgan Hoffman, Teddy Wilson, and Ajay Fry all hosted this show called InnerSpace, and as part of their duties with the Space Channel, they’d host panels and do meet and greets with attendees at Fan Expo. That was how we got to meet up. Ya notice how I been using past tense here? That’s cuz May 24 came ... and Bell fucking Media cancelled InnerSpace and let everybody go. Fuck Bell Media.
So I went to Toronto with an InnerSpace cosplay, and no idea if Morgan (who came up with Dr Luna) was even gonna be there to see it. Ajay was the only former host that I knew for sure would be there, cuz he was doin’ gaming stuff with X-Box Canada, hosting live streams, and his own “Ask Me Anything” panel. And then ... at the 11th hour ... Natasha and I got us the best surprise while we were at the Con. Turned out Ajay had a special guest joining him at his panel...

Where there's #weaponizedcute ...
...there's a red carpet. And we had some time, so of course we found it!
2017: Con Meetup 2 - Senpai boogaloo
So last year at Fan Expo, I finally got to meet my #TwitterSister Morgan Hoffman. And it was amazing. This year, my other #TwitterSister and I just got the bestest news. Our favorite cosplayer, my #Senpai in all things cosplay and modelling, Alexandria the Red, had been booked for Fan Expo. I hopped a FedEx truck and made another run to Ontario for Fan Expo. Despite costuming issues, I got my ass up there and it happened. It finally, indeed and in person, happened. #Senpai noticed me!!!!
2016: my first time in the t dot
I always wanted to go to Fan Expo in Toronto. Or at least, get swag from it. And this year my human was going to go ... and then his employment situation was like "Yeah, *no*" so that didn't happen. But my #TwitterSister Natasha was like, yeah, you get the hell up here. So I travelled up with FedEx and finally got to go to my first con outside of Hal-Con. And, oh my God this was AMAZING!!
